Established in 1974, Sharjah English School operates as a ‘not for profit’ school. It is self-supporting and financed by fees paid by parents for the education of their children.
The
school provides quality primary and secondary
education for English-speaking children between the ages
of 3 and 19. There are more than 500 students in school, the majority of whom are British in classes averaging twenty in number. The teachers are qualified and experienced British professionals. The school offers the English National Curriculum
In September 2005, the school, to build upon the excellence of the established primary school, opened a secondary section. Currently catering for Years 7 – 12,
it will continue in to year 13 in September 2009.
The school is situated on an attractive purpose built site adjacent to Sharjah University City and includes outstanding state of the art facilities. All the buildings are fully air-conditioned, light and spacious. The school offers all that you would expect from a quality English school.
